Multiples

For my first attempt at this project, I chose to portray "procrastination", something I'm sure we can all relate to.

  1. all to well I am afraid I would say that that is a good choice going over a common issue and turning it into something like this. though I don't know where the light is coming from exactly and I see that their would be risk of overlap but the one on the phone doesn't seem to have a shadow on the bed from what I see but other than that the image seems to have everything in check from what I see. (P.S. suppose to have posted two images)

  2. 1. the image meets the criteria

    2. The artist is trying to portray precisely "procrastination" like she said. Completely relative with everyone because we've all done it. Nothing new there.

    3. There are no technical issues here that bother me. I would like to say as a positive comment is that your self's overlap each other. Some of the other examples I have seen, people would try to avoid that a space out their selfies completely. So nice job there!

    4. I think we were suppose to have 2 images for this project (oops I didn't do that either :/) uh oh! But this one was really nicely done, I love the pizza one haha, stuffing your face into the pizza is really funny. That looks like a gameboy advance from here, but the facial expression is just priceless!

Have a happy Thanksgiving and break (:

  3. 1. I think this image definitely meets the criteria for the assignment, but as the others have already mentioned there should be two images.

    2. As your caption says, you were conveying procrastination! And you're right! I think it really is something we all can relate to. And this image must show all of the different ways you find to distract yourself from your work.

    3. As Adam mentioned, I think you might be missing a shadow cast by the figure on the ground. I can't really tell where the light source is, but the shadows of the figures against the wall make me think it might possibly be overhead and to the left of the picture. I don't know for sure but it might be something to double check.
And as Kelsy said, GREAT job with the overlapping! The overlapping definitely makes it a more challenging project.

    4. You did a good job with this image, and I would love to see a second one! You clearly understand the photoshop aspect. Your facial expressions are also priceless and I think they show a glimpse of your silly side.

  4. 1. This meets the requirement Sharah

    2. This is perfectly accurate, portraying what most people do during down time, especially crushing a whole pepperoni pizza. The background also looks really interesting

    3. You did a great job, and I'm pretty sure that you aren't missing a shadow on the ground, because the shadow from your face provides what the angle would be, plus I don't remember seeing one as I was creeping on you doing this

    4. Do a second one before everyone freaks out about it. I like that you're making goofy faces as if you're killing the gameboy, and you're natural pizza eating faces

  5. 1. The image she has made meets the criteria it has great facial expressions and shows the basic stages of procrastination that we all fall into.
    2. She easily portrays some of the different things we all do when we are absolutely not trying to study or do homework.
    3. There are no technical issues, it was well thought out and constructed. Its impressive she was able to fit them in such a tight work place and it still come out so well.
    4. The only one for this project I saw on the blog was the procrastination one, but I think it was well constructed and overall a successful image.

  6. 1. There should be two images, but the image shown does meet the criteria of the assignment.
    2. This image portrays procrastination extremely well and the means to by which a lot of people procrastinate, cell phones and Facebook.
    3. There is one slight technical issue I can see above her feet it looks like something didn't come all the way through.
    4. I think the image is successful in the message it is trying to portray.

  7. In order to meet the criteria there should be two pictures.
I like how in the photo, your attempting to get something done, but food, phones and games are more important!
Too he very right of the photo it looks like it doesn't line up very well, but its hard to see one the page..

  8. 1) The image meets the criteria or fulfills the assignment, but one multiple self-portrait is missing.

    2) This definately shows procrastination from one's homework assignments.

    3) There are no technical issues that I see or bother me. I actually enjoy the motion blur of the figure eating the pizza. It shows the action of eating and makes her look more hungry.

    4) This piece is very well done. I love how the figures' surroundings adds to the act of procrastination. All of the homework pilling up on her bed as she procrastinates is very clever. I also enjoy the way the figures are interacting with their surroundings.

    2. This image portrays the art of procrastination, and everything involved in it.

    3. I didn't notice any technical problems.

    4. Texting, pizza, Facebook, and a gameboy advance all in one image. NICE.
